CyberBBQ: Protect your business from cyber threats together with EBA and FS Group

On March 26, 2025, EBA Odesa, in collaboration with FS Group, held a specialized event focused on current cybersecurity threats. Given the rapid advancement of digital technologies and the growing risks of cyberattacks, ensuring the resilience of information systems has become a critical priority for modern businesses. The event was opened by Serhii Yevchuk, CEO of FS Group and a member of the EBA Coordination Council in Odesa, and Valerii Shnurenko, Head of the EBA Corporate Security Working Group in Odesa and Head of Corporate Security at Risoil Group. They emphasized that effective cybersecurity relies on a combination of technological solutions, strategic planning, and raising employee awareness. FS Group experts provided an in-depth overview of the most common threats businesses face, including social engineering attacks, account breaches, data leaks, and cyber fraud. Participants received practical advice on strengthening their companys security, such as implementing multi-factor authentication, creating regular data backups, and conducting routine security system tests. To reinforce the key insights, an interactive quiz was held, allowing attendees to assess their cybersecurity awareness and gain a better understanding of attack prevention methods. This format encouraged audience engagement and helped solidify practical knowledge. The final part of the event took place in a networking format, where participants discussed pressing cybersecurity issues, shared experiences, and explored potential collaboration opportunities in cyber defense.
