Research over the past few years, such as that of DOU analysts, has shown that IT professionals change jobs quite often. On average, they spend about two years in one company.

Knowing that we have employees who have been working in our company almost since its foundation, we decided to research these cases and share them with you to refute this stereotype.

Telesens is 26 years old this year, and many of our specialists have been working with us for half of that time, and some of them for almost all of it!

That’s why we chose them for the interview and asked them what inspires them to work with us for so long.

What inspires you to work for the same company for so many years?

I have always wanted the company I work for to continue to thrive. Different things have happened over the years, but the whole team is making every effort to keep working and keep projects at the highest level.

What are the advantages of working for a long time in one company?

For me, working for a long time in one company is a lifestyle. Lifestyle and a habit in the good sense of the word.

How have you grown professionally over the years?

At first, I was the head of the economic security department, and later I became the head of the legal department, and my responsibilities expanded. Telesens has always had interesting tasks, challenges, and counterparties. That’s why I was improving myself. I attended seminars, courses and People Management School. 

What do you love most about Telesens?

I feel emotional comfort here. I love the atmosphere, people, projects, and approaches.

What inspires you to work for the same company for so many years?

To be honest, I think I still belong to the generation for whom working in the same place for the rest of your life is quite normal. Especially, when this work is interesting to you and meets your development needs, both as a professional and as a person, and constantly throws up something new and exciting.

What are the advantages of working for a long time in one company?

Here we can draw an analogy to a vacation in one place. The advantages are that everything is familiar, and the disadvantages are that you don’t know what it’s like in other places. The main thing here is to understand whether the company meets your development needs. As for me, my company does a good job of this, which is why I have been with it for 19 years.

How have you grown professionally over the years?

Starting as a newcomer with a technical education in rocketry and a little experience in IT, I have grown to the head of the department, having passed all the steps of the ladder unnoticed. I just worked, trying to do my job well. During this time, the company also changed, mastered new directions and technologies, while remaining warm and almost homely.

What do you love most about Telesens?

For me, it’s like a second family, where there is friendship, support, communication, and arguments. Sometimes even hot ones.

What inspires you to work for the same company for so many years?

For me, my company is like a second family, where I put my heart and soul 100% into it. When you work in one company for a long time, you “grow into it” as if by roots. You know all the nuances, colleagues and stories that have happened to us. No matter how many different offers I had, I never thought about changing jobs. Moreover, I don’t even have a resume. I’ve never made one.

What are the advantages of working in one company for a long time?

For me, the advantage is that I know a lot about the company and the people. It is cool to have a wealth of knowledge about the company and to always learn and implement something interesting from the newcomers who come to us.

How have you grown professionally over the years? 

I have overcome challenges and learned to find a way out of any situation. It is constant growth, difficult tasks and constant learning of new things.

What do you love most about Telesens?

The people and the fact that I can realize myself here. I am really proud to work at Telesens.

What inspires you to work for the same company for so many years?

I just love what I do. I’ve been in support since 2000, and all this time I’ve been working with people, communicating and meeting very interesting people. It’s great. 

What are the advantages of working in one company for a long time?

The first and most important thing is the team. Over the years, you meet cool people and they become your friends.

The second is development. The company does not stand still, it develops and offers the same to its employees, motivating them to grow.

How have you grown professionally over the years?

This is a difficult question. First of all, I grew and developed comprehensively thanks to my social circle. It was a circle of very educated and competent people who motivated me to grow and even outgrow their level.

As for my professional skills, the courses I took, such as Oracle, helped me a lot in technical terms.

Why do you love Telesens?

For the people who used to work here and still do. Even with those who have left the company, we continue to communicate and be friends.

What inspires you to work for the same company for so many years? 

Stability, qualified specialists and a friendly team. When many puzzles fit together into one picture, it is a blessing to be a part of such a “puzzle”.

What are the advantages of working for a long time in one company?

The longer employees work and the better they know the company’s products, the more useful they are to the company. They know the topic perfectly, can answer all questions, and are competent in everything they do.

Thanks to such people, the team does not lose knowledge, and customers receive the most accurate and fastest technical support.

How have you grown professionally over the years?

Working at Telesens is my first job and the only entry in my work record. Right after graduation, I started as a translator. Later, this position gradually turned into a position of a reviewer, and in 2015 I became a marketing specialist in the sales department.

After 3 years there, I became a key account manager. And since then, I have had continuous experience in this department, where I have been a manager since 2022.

That is, in 14 years, I have held various positions in different departments. It was not boring, it was very interesting, and during all this time I was learning new responsibilities and updating my knowledge. This is what made me the specialist I am today.
