Charitable Event in Support of Wounded Ukrainian Defenders

23/ 12/ 2024
The issue of supporting wounded Ukrainian Defenders remains critically important. Our heroes, who have sustained injuries, require not only medical rehabilitation but also social adaptation, integration into society, and the creation of a barrier-free environment for a comfortable life. Providing the necessary support to these individuals is a crucial step toward building a resilient and united community, where everyone feels valued and appreciated for their contribution to the country’s future. On December 20, 2024, a charitable event was held in Odesa to support wounded Ukrainian Defenders. The event was organized by the NGO National Council for Health and Safety in cooperation with the Odesa Regional Employment Center, in partnership with the Southern Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association, the Association of Rehabilitation Management, and the Odesa Center for Vocational Education of the State Employment Service, with the support of the Office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Odesa Region. The event highlighted the challenges our heroes face and contributed to their recovery and reintegration into society. The event was opened by Nikita Karpenko, founder of Paramedic and member of the EBA Odesa Coordination Council, who emphasized the importance of this initiative for the community and the necessity of supporting our heroes. He welcomed the Defenders, stressing the significance of unity and mutual assistance. Nadiya Savchenko, founder of HR KEY People and Head of EBA Odesa HR HUB, also addressed the audience, expressing gratitude for the courage and dedication of our Defenders. She highlighted the vital role of businesses in supporting this important initiative. The program continued with a performance by the Military Music Art Center of the Ukrainian Navy, where guests enjoyed live music and unforgettable emotions. It was a wonderful opportunity to feel the spirit of patriotism and bravery. The official part of the event concluded with a reception, where attendees had the chance to interact with the heroes, personally thank the Defenders for their sacrifices, and express their gratitude. Special thanks go to the companies and organizations that joined the event, providing gifts for war veterans and their families. Their proactive stance and contributions to this joint initiative were invaluable. Together, we demonstrated that supporting our heroes is not just a duty but an honor for each of us. Everyone can contribute to the recovery and support of our heroes, and in doing so, we are building a better future for our country.
