Business met with the representatives of the political party “Sluga Narodu”
Today a working meeting of the European Business Association with the Chairman of the political party “Sluga Narody” Dmitry Razumkov and the expert on taxation, public finances, banking law of the political party “Sluga Narodu” Danil Hetmantsev took place.
Business emphasized on priority issues for effective work and development. Business talked about the need to combat the shadow economy, fiscalization, development of cashless and sanction of trade without a fiscal check, changes in responsibility for tax offenses, for example, for offenses that did not occur out of fault or negligence of the business.
In the context of customs work, the issues of harmonization of the customs legislation of Ukraine with the EU legislation, introduction of the institute of the authorized economic operator, etc were raised.
It is important that the priorities of the business and the announced goals of the political team are mostly the same. At the same time, to achieve more, sometimes goals have to be more ambitious. For example, the issue of the shadow economy and the necessary steps to resolve the issue were discussed at the meeting. The team has a lot of important and useful suggestions and plans to reduce the shadow economy by 15% in the next five years. But, perhaps, if business and government cooperate effectively, the figure of 25-30% is also quite real. Business is ready to engage and support important reforms in the country.
In addition, was emphasized on the need of judicial reform – as economy won’t be able to move ahead without uneconomic upgrades. Also business spoke about the regulation of infrastructure issues and attraction of private investment in logistics, integrated migration issues. At the same time, it is also important to promote the development of natural resources and launch of a civilized system of market relations with land resources, the introduction of integrated forest policy and so on.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that the business community submit the proposals to resolve the current problematic issues and to develop a favorable business climate in the country.
We thank the representatives of the political party for the open dialogue and look forward for further effective cooperation!
