The business met with Southern Interregional directorates of the State Tax Service for work with large taxpayers
On September 7, 2023, a meeting of the Financial and Tax Committee of the EBA Southern Ukrainian Office with the Southern Interregional directorates of the State Tax Service for work with large taxpayers was held. So, from the State Tax Service Nataliia Munika, Head of the Tax Audit Department, Serhii Surzhikov, Head of Actual Inspections Department and Natalia Sambaeva, the Head of the Tax Services Sector took part.
The meeting was moderated by Vitalii Smerdov , partner of the tax practice of Crowe Mikhailenko, head of the Finance & Tax Committee of the EBA Southern Ukrainian Office and Inna Hryshkovets , EBA Southern Ukrainian Office Committee Manager. Viktoriia Vlasenko, Crowe Mikhailenko adviser, added the head of the EBA Southern Ukrainian Office Finance & Tax Committee.
At the meeting, an interesting topic was discussed which regards the changes which were brought by the Law of Ukraine No. 3219-IX . Namely, the restoration of tax audits, the abolition of the single tax of 2%, the new rules for the application of fines and the passage of statutes of limitations during wartime, and other updates to tax rules. In turn, the participants were concerned about such topical topics as the assessment of real estate and land tax in 2022 and 2023, preferential conditions for tax assessment, which depend on the place of hostilities and the time period.
To sum it up, coordinated work and trust of business in state bodies, especially in the tax service, is the key to filling the budget. Now it is important to continue the dialogue between the state tax service and business and be mutually beneficial to each other. We are proud of our companies, which continue to work and develop even in such difficult times and demonstrate an example of perseverance and integrity in conducting business.
