Business and the Mineconomy signed the Annex to the Grain Memorandum

  The European Business Association reports that the Mineconomy and the participants of the grain market signed the Annex to the Memorandum of Understanding for the 2020/2021 marketing year on August 17. Thus, in the 2020/2021 marketing year, the maximum volume of wheat exports amounts to 17.5 million tons, while the maximum volume of the rye exports amounts to 1 thousand tons. The signatories also agreed on the possibility of reviewing the volume of grain exports in the 4th quarter. The Grain Memorandum is designed to ensure the predictability and flexibility of the grain exports market, which is an important component of the successful export activities. After all, stability and predictability are a priority for Ukraine and one of the main factors of national and food security. For the tenth year in a row, the Memorandum has been one of the main factors in maintaining the balance between domestic grain consumption and export opportunities. Irina Dushnik.
