Asters advises Dobrobut Group on acquisition of Boris medical center

  Asters acted as a legal counsel to Dobrobut, a leading Ukrainian network of private medical centers, on its acquisition of Boris medical center. The transaction has become one of the largest M&A deals in the Ukrainian healthcare market in the recent years.  Asters team fully supported its client on all major aspects of the deal. In particular, Asters conducted legal due diligence of Boris medical center, obtained all the necessary clearances from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, provided support within the in-depth study of the healthcare market initiated by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, structured the settlements, prepared a package of contracts for the transaction and its closure, advised on various issues of corporate, contractual, antitrust, intellectual property and real estate law. The transaction preparation work lasted for almost a year and required coordination and combination of interests of a wide range of Boris co-owners (sellers of the business).
