EBA has launched Business Security and Protection Committee

  The European Business Association informs that the EBA Business Security and Protection Committee has started its work. The primary purpose of the committee is to bring together security professionals, lawyers, compliance officers, and other key stakeholders to share experiences in providing comprehensive business security assistance, and cooperation with law enforcement and other government agencies in matters of violation of security rights and interests of business entities. These will be achieved by forming an expert position in solving security problems, promoting a security culture among business representatives and investors, based on best international practices, industry standards, and global certification. The Committee priorities have been identified as follows: Creating a platform for dialogue and assistance in the formation of effective mechanisms of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in the field of national security of Ukraine. Harmonizing the legislation of Ukraine with the norms of international security law in order to ensure the protection of key business interests from internal and external threats. Providing practical security recommendations and assistance in the formation of company strategies to improve the effectiveness of security policy and protection of corporate interests of business. The Committee representatives have already elected the Chairman and members of the Management Board.
