The EBA and the “Let’s See The Victory” CF held a practical offline training dedicated to the reintegration of people with vision loss

06/ 12/ 2024
On 28 November, the European Business Association and the charitable foundation Lets See The Victory held another practical offline training session as part of the Unified Space project, dedicated to the reintegration of people with vision loss. This time, participants had the opportunity to learn from Vladyslav Yeshchenko, a military sapper, co-founder and CEO of the Lets See The Victory Foundation, and Valeriia Yeshchenko, the foundation’s Head of Project Activities, about the basics of respectful communication, accompaniment practices, and various channels and methods to support individuals with visual impairments or blindness. As Vladyslav and Valeriia emphasised, inclusion is the process of integrating everyone into society and creating conditions where every individual feels comfortable and equal. Accessibility, in turn, becomes the key to shaping such an environment. During the training, participants not only gained theoretical knowledge but also had the chance to practically acquire skills that would enable them to interact more effectively with people with vision impairments. This is an important step towards making the business environment more inclusive and aware. We are grateful to all participants for their engagement and interest in building a better society. We hope that the knowledge gained will be actively applied in their professional activities!
