The meeting focused on the initiative to implement electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) in Ukraine — a reform that is crucial for modernising the country’s economy and advancing its integration into the European space. Introduction of electronic invoices in Ukraine As highlighted during the discussion, the introduction of e-invoicing offers multiple benefits, including reduced administrative costs, faster payment cycles, and improved access to finance. The participants agreed to join efforts in encouraging broader business involvement in the implementation process. This reform is also part of Ukraine’s EU integration commitments, which the country, as a candidate state, is expected to fulfil by the end of 2027.
