Arzinger joined the creation of the World Map of Food Law by the Food Law Network

07/ 08/ 2024
The global Food Law Network has launched the World Map of Food Law, which provides an overview of food law in more than 20 countries, including Ukraine. As a long-standing member of the FLN, Arzingers Food &Beverage team contributed to the map and prepared a brief overview of Ukrainian legislation, which currently includes material on: country of origin requirements for food, definitions of the terms vegetarian and vegan, food fortification, and the use of cannabis as an ingredient in food or supplements. In the future, the map will be updated with other relevant topics in food regulation. With the help of the World Map of Food Law, companies operating in this field can quickly and conveniently learn about the relevant regulations in different countries, which will help them develop their business in other markets. Arzinger is the only Ukrainian law firm to be a member of the Food Lawyers Network. And this is not surprising, as we have one of the best expertise in food regulation - the best practice of the Ukrainian legal market. We provide a full range of services: from regulatory matters to representation in courts and government agencies, dealing with risks and legislative initiatives in this area. Our clients include international and Ukrainian companies: manufacturers and importers, large retailers, and distributors. Moreover, the food industry is not a widespread industrial practice in our legal market, and it is very cool to be a part of this unique network and join its initiatives, comments Lana Sinichkina, Partner and Head of Food & Beverage at Arzinger. Food Law Network is a global business network of lawyers specialising in the food industry. It provides a unique opportunity to interact professionally with lawyers from different parts of the world and to provide the highest level of service to companies expanding their business globally.
