ArtAsters presents THE WORLD I LIVE IN exhibition by Vasyl Korchynskyi

25/ 03/ 2026
On 18 March 2026, Asters together with the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) presented THE WORLD I LIVE IN exhibition as part of the long-standing ArtAsters project promoting Ukrainian art. The exhibition features selected works by the renowned Ukrainian artist Vasyl Korchynskyi. Drawing on folk imagery and spiritual symbolism, Mr Korchynskyi explores themes of identity, dignity, war and resilience. His art offers a deeply personal yet universal vision of Ukraine, rooted in tradition and attentive to the realities of the present. His paintings weave together Ukrainian history, memory, archetypes such as Cossack Mamai, Trypillian and Scythian imagery and the contemporary experience of war and resistance. Asters’ Senior Partner Armen Khachaturyan comments: “Vasyl Korchynskyi is a strong name in the Ukrainian art. He differs from many by a wide variety of genres and techniques where oil paintings, graphics and vytynanky (traditional Ukrainian paper-cut art) interact and add to each other. His themes are also broadly diverse, touching upon different senses of life shaped by history, memories and hard‑won lived experience, with themes of identity, war and resilience especially meaningful. We are happy to have a chance to showcase Vasyl Korchynskyis works within the ArtAsters project, filling our office with the very special energy and emotion, inspiring and delighting our colleagues, friends and guests.” President and CEO of the US-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) Irina Paliashvili adds USUBC is delighted to continue this longstanding tradition of joining our esteemed member – Asters – in support of Ukrainian art.  This tradition was initiated by our legendary President Morgan Williams together with Armen Khachaturyan, and we have seen numerous amazing exhibitions over the years, but this artists, Vasyl Korchynskyi, especially inspires us with his personal figurative language in national aesthetics and his ability to transform ordinary things into powerful masterpieces.” * * * ArtAsters is Asters CSR project aimed at the support and popularization of Ukrainian contemporary art. Launched in 2009, the project is designed to benefit Ukrainian artists and create additional opportunities to display their works in a gallery-like office space for Asters employees, clients and guests.
