Andrii Nyzhnyi spoke to students of “Statesman”training course for civically active youth about the situation with judicial reform

  On August 16, 2023, Andrii Nyzhnyi, Senior Partner and Head of Litigation at Hillmont Partners, delivered an expert report on judicial reform to students attending the national educational and professional course entitled “Statesman: Changes are Possible”. The training event was held at the Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhii Nyzhnyi and featured a number of lecturers and school alumni as speakers. Andrii Nyzhnyi spoke to young people about the current condition, goals and achievements of judicial reform in Ukraine. He has considerable practical experience as a developer and teacher of a series of special training events for judges. In particular, he was involved as a national expert in the Council of Europe Project “Supporting the Judiciary of Ukraine in Ensuring Better Access to Justice”. Andrii’s session was held as part of the module on state reforms. * * * The “Statesman” national educational and professional course is aimed at developing young Ukrainian people aged 18 to 35 in terms of increasing the level of responsible leadership and civic engagement. Throughout the week, judges, government officials, well-known entrepreneurs, journalists, educators and historians, public figures and volunteers discussed with top students from all over Ukraine as to how to unite effectively for the successful rebuilding of our country. The Kyiv School of Public Administration (KSPA) was founded and is being developed by friends and colleagues of Serhii Nyzhnyi (1980-2021), one of the founders of Hillmont Partners. The mission of the Kyiv School of Public Administration is to provide Ukrainians with access to modern knowledge and practical expertise in the field of public administration in order to form a new generation of leaders for positive changes in government processes.
