Andrii Chornous Promoted to Partner at Hillmont Partners

  Former Counsel Andrii Chornous has been promoted to Partner at Hillmont Partners, one of Ukraine’s leading law firms with offices in Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv and London. Andrii maintains his role as a Head of the firm’s Commercial Dispute Resolution practice. Andrii has been with Hillmont Partners since 2019. Prior to that he spent three years as an investigator with the Business Ombudsman Council of Ukraine, and earlier he worked as a litigator in an international law firm. Andrii Chornous represents clients in complex cross-border disputes and arbitration proceedings. He has extensive experience in acting as an instructing counsel in international commercial and investment arbitrations and litigations. He regularly acts in court proceedings concerning the enforcement and setting aside of arbitral awards. Andrii Chornous holds a PhD in Law from the Law Institute of the Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv. As an FCDO Chevening Scholar, he recently completed his Master Juris degree at the University of Oxford.
