The European Business Association welcomes the overall adoption of draft law No. 11379-d, which aims to address the legislative conflict that led to the mobilization of conscripts under 25 years old who were deemed partially fit for service in Ukraine. Previously, the business community had already called for a resolution to this matter as part of a broader demand for a fair and transparent approach to conscription during mobilization. We hope for the prompt signing of the document and the implementation of this provision. As a reminder, conscripts under the age of 25 who were found unfit for military service during peacetime but partially fit during wartime were categorized as liable for military service. In cases where they had not undergone basic general military training or basic military service (currently not being conducted) and were deemed fit following a repeated medical examination, they could be called up for military service during mobilization. The adoption of draft law No. 11379-d resolves this controversial issue. We appreciate the Verkhovna Radas attention to this matter!
