MPs elaborated Draft Law on Amendments to the Law «On Waste» №2950 dated 22.05.2015 that foresaw introduction of additional requirements to importers of CPPs. In particular, Draft Law proposed to shift responsibility for disposal of empty CPP containers and non-transferring of empty containers onto importers of CPPs while they ensure disposal by conducting relevant agreements with licensed operators. Thanks to EBA efforts, the work on prevention of introduction of such amendments was done. On 21 April Draft Law was not adopted by the Verkhovna Rada.
