Logistics issues

24/ 11/ 2021
The EBA representatives met with Mustafa Nayem, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, and his team on the lack of international cargo road permits, namely, in the direction of Poland. For more than a year now, the EBA has been drawing attention to the critical situation with international road permits for Ukrainian carriers. Now the situation has been exacerbated. Lack of road permits causes significant economic losses to businesses due to non-compliance with foreign economic agreements. Thus, producers are losing markets, carriers are losing orders, and Ukraines economy is losing jobs. At the meeting, the following issues were raised: losses and problems that companies face due to lack of permits; proposals for further action plan and communication with responsible authorities & partners to address the problem, in particular at the international level; options for the distribution of international road permits among carriers for next year. On behalf of the business, we truly thank Mustafa Nayem and his team for the meeting and look forward to continuing the fruitful cooperation! For its part, the business community is ready to support such initiatives aimed at improving business conditions and fostering the growth of Ukraines economy.   Be the first to learn about the latest EBA news with our Telegram-channel – EBAUkraine.
