Business reputation is a key component of any organizations success. It is important to perceive it as a significant asset of the company. A positive reputation builds the trust and loyalty of customers, consumers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, allows you to hire and retain the best professionals, and a negative reputation can lead to financial losses and sometimes bankruptcy. It is important to remember that every employee works on the companys reputation, and if you work with a reputation on a daily basis and strengthen it, then any information crisis will be easier; Regarding information manipulation: it turns out that more than 50% of the company’s employees do not follow information hygiene, according to the study How employees of 20 large companies follow information hygiene on Facebook. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to what you distribute on your social media pages, as well as to verify the credibility of the information you distribute. It’s crucial to react to information manipulations in a balanced, fast, and efficient way. At the same time, you should not delete spread negative information, because the last one will still remain on the Internet. We discussed this and much more within the PR industry at the EBA Lviv PR Hub meeting on November 27th. Therefore, we thank our experts: Viktor Galchynskyi, Head of the Press Service of the JSC “KREDOBANK” and Natalia Ulynets, Founder and Director of Perfect PR agency for sharing their professional opinions with us, and Maryana Lutsyshyn for moderating the meeting.
