IMPACTA LAW advises NOTUS energy on the project financing of 123.9 MW wind farm in Ukraine

06/ 09/ 2026
IMPACTA LAW is advising NOTUS energy, German renewable energy developer, on the EUR 162 million wind energy project in Ukraine. The project reached a key milestone at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk in June 2026, with the execution of the Common Terms Agreement following extensive multi‑party negotiations. This milestone reflects the outcome of a complex and intensive process involving a broad international stakeholder group. The transaction brings together a strong consortium of international financial institutions and stakeholders, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Swedfund, Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries (BIO) and others. The project is the first under the IFC-EBRD Mutual Reliance Framework. IMPACTA LAW acted as Ukrainian law counsel to NOTUS energy throughout the transaction. Our team worked in close coordination with international counsel and financing parties to ensure alignment across jurisdictions. Other advisors included Clifford Chance as international counsel to the lenders and Clyde & Co as international counsel to the borrower.
