Microsoft is named a leader in the Frost Radar study among providers of cloud infrastructure security platforms

In a new study Cloud Workload Protection Platforms Microsoft has been recognized as one of the market leaders in cloud workload protection platform (CWPP) for 2026. The report by the global analytics and consulting company Frost & Sullivan notes that standard scans of cloud infrastructure for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations are no longer sufficient. Companies need comprehensive solutions that continuously monitor the operation of the cloud environment and detect threats in real time. Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP) are solutions designed to detect threats and protect workloads such as servers, databases, applications, containers, and other IT resources operating in cloud and hybrid environments. The Frost & Sullivan notes that leading cloud infrastructure security platforms are characterized by the following features: provide comprehensive protection for cloud infrastructure, including applications, data, and accounts, as well as access control, all within a single solution without the need for multiple products; continuously monitor the operation of cloud infrastructure and detect threats in real time; identify the most dangerous risks and prioritize their mitigation; prevent potentially dangerous applications and services from running in the cloud environment; forward information about detected threats to cybersecurity teams and developers so they can respond quickly and eliminate the threat.
