Wietse Heyninck appointed as Director Project Logistics at Ahlers Logistics

  Antwerp, August 19, 2026 – Ahlers Logistics has appointed Wietse Heyninck as Director Project Logistics, effective 19 August 2026. Heyninck brings more than fifteen years of experience in complex international infrastructure and energy projects. His background combines engineering and operations with commercial development and international market expansion.  Heyninck began his career in operational roles at DEME and Jan De Nul Group before moving through DNV and Exmar into senior strategic and commercial positions in the offshore wind sector. During this period, he contributed to securing major projects including Nobelwind, Northwester 2, Borkum Riffgrund 2 and Formosa.  Since 2019, Heyninck has worked at Parkwind, now JERA Nex bp, where he most recently served as Manager Global Business Development. In this role, he led international tender and origination teams and supported the company’s entry into new markets, including Australia and New Zealand.  At Ahlers, he will lead the Project Logistics team with a focus on strengthening its commercial and operational capabilities, expanding Ahlers international customer portfolio, and driving further growth across strategic markets.  «Project Logistics is an important growth pillar for Ahlers.
