Now is the perfect time to purchase a PRANA heat recovery unit on favorable terms

19/ 08/ 2026
Your productivity starts with the air: that’s why the microclimate of your workspace matters! Today’s business pace demands constant focus: meetings, negotiations, dozens of decisions throughout the day, working with information, and accountability for results. We’re used to looking for ways to be more productive—we plan our day, track our sleep, physical activity, and diet. But we pay much less attention to the environment where we spend most of our workday. And one of its fundamental components is the air we breathe. When It’s Not Just About Fatigue. A few hours of work in an office with closed windows, a long meeting, or a packed conference room—and the CO₂ level in the room gradually rises if there’s insufficient ventilation. This is important not just in terms of feeling refreshed. A study by the  Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health  among office workers in six countries showed a link between rising CO₂ levels—which were used as an indicator of indoor ventilation—and a decline in certain measures of cognitive performance, specifically reaction time and the number of tasks completed correctly. The results showed that as CO₂ concentration increased by 500 ppm, participants’ reaction times slowed by 1.4–1.8%, and the number of correct answers per minute decreased by 2.1–2.4%. In this study, CO₂ levels were used as an indicator of ventilation efficiency. The researchers also found a link to PM2.5 concentrations: each 10 µg/m³ increase was associated with a 0.8–0.9% slowdown in reaction time and a 0.8–1.7% decline in cognitive test performance. So when it becomes harder to concentrate or your work pace slows down in the middle of the workday, it may not just be due to a busy schedule. It’s also worth paying attention to indoor air quality and ventilation. The Workspace as a Tool for Productivity. A modern office or home office is no longer just a desk, a chair, and proper lighting. It’s an environment designed to support you throughout the entire workday. That’s why ventilation is gradually becoming just as fundamental to a comfortable workspace as temperature, lighting, or ergonomics. The goal of properly organized ventilation is simple: to ensure a constant supply of fresh air and the removal of stale air without having to remember to air out the room every few hours. This becomes especially important in the fall and winter, when keeping a window open for long periods of time is uncomfortable and energy-inefficient. Ventilation You Don’t Have to Think About All the Time. One solution for ensuring continuous air exchange is heat-recovery ventilation. PRANA heat recovery units from Ukraine simultaneously supply fresh air from outside and remove stale air from the room. Thanks to a copper heat exchanger, the system retains up to 98% of heat or cool air, reducing energy loss during ventilation. Depending on the system configuration, it can also monitor indoor air quality parameters—including CO₂, humidity, and TVOC—and automatically adjust ventilation settings. For someone with a busy schedule, this is above all convenient: there’s no need to constantly think about when to open a window or air out a room—air exchange can happen continuously. Take care of your space—and save money while you’re at it!. The end of summer is the perfect time to prepare your home, home office, or other workspace for the season when windows are left closed more and more often. In honor of Ukraine’s Independence Day, PRANA has prepared a special offer: from August 19 to 28, 2026, enjoy discounts of up to 21% on PRANA’s residential heat recovery ventilators. Quantities are limited, so hurry and take advantage of this offer! For more details on the promotion terms and products, visit the manufacturer’s official website: prana.ua

When It’s Not Just About Fatigue

A few hours of work in an office with closed windows, a long meeting, or a packed conference room—and the CO₂ level in the room gradually rises if there’s insufficient ventilation.

This is important not just in terms of feeling refreshed. A study by the  Harvard T.H.
