“It Matters”: OTP BANK joins a large-scale charity campaign

18/ 02/ 2026
OTP BANK JSC has joined the nationwide charity campaign “It Matters”. The initiative aims to highlight the vital role and contribution of Ukraine’s defenders, volunteers, and all citizens who continue to live and work under extremely challenging conditions. Alongside the communication campaign, a charity fundraiser titled “It Matters” has been launched with a target of UAH 10 million to support the servicemen and women of the 3rd Army Corps, who are holding approximately 200 kilometres of the defense line. How to join OTP BANK offers several ways to take part in the campaign. In particular, an online charity auction has been launched for the Bank’s customers in the OTP Bank UA mobile app. Participants can bid for unique lots, including a flag from the 3rd Army Corps, a vinyl record, and a set of Kotyhoroshko children’s books with personal messages from the defenders. Another way to participate is by making a personal donation. A charitable transfer of UAH 300 or more allows customers to receive an exclusive card skin from OTP Bank. A donation of UAH 500 or more made at any Bank branch entitles donors to receive branded merchandise from the headquarters foundation of the 3rd Army Corps. In addition, customers can invite friends, relatives, and colleagues to join the fundraiser by creating a dedicated “Kupa” collection in the OTP Bank UA app. About the goal “OTP BANK plans to raise over UAH 1.5 million. We all understand how important it is to support our defenders – because this is what truly matters. This is something the Bank’s team is genuinely proud of. We have developed several easy and engaging ways for customers, partners and all concerned citizens to join the campaign: an in-app online auction with exclusive lots, ‘Kupa’ collections and branded merchandise for donations. We invite everyone to take part,” said Lesia Syrota, Team Leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine project and Director of the Retail Sales and Network Management Department at OTP BANK. About online charity auctions in OTP Bank UA This is already the sixth charity online auction organised by the Bank in the OTP Bank UA app. The feature was first introduced in August 2023 and dedicated to Independence Day, and later to the Christmas holidays. A total of UAH 8.8 million raised through two auctions was donated to support Superhumans Center. In December 2024, OTP BANK employees raised UAH 1 million at an internal charity auction to purchase an incubator for the Kharkiv Regional Perinatal Center. In August 2025, OTP BANK and the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation conducted the online campaign “Free Sky in 34”, dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine. The campaign raised UAH 1.8 million, which was allocated to strengthening the country’s defense capabilities. In December 2025, OTP BANK together with Superhumans Center held the charity auction “Christmas for Supers”, raising UAH 4.5 million.
