Ukrainian–Turkish Business Meeting in Odesa opened new opportunities for business

17/ 12/ 2025
After a long pause, trade missions are resuming their visits to Odesa, opening new opportunities for international business. On December 12, a business event took place in Odesa with the participation of Ukrainian and Turkish companies. The meeting was organized by the Office of the Commercial Attaché of the Consulate General of Turkey in Odesa and the Odesa Regional Development Agency, in cooperation with the Southern Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association (EBA) and the Odesa Regional Organization of Employers. The event was held as part of the visit of the Turkish Production and Trade Council (ÜTİK) delegation and aimed to strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations, develop partnerships, and establish B2B contacts between entrepreneurs of both countries. More than 15 Turkish companies from various sectors — logistics, construction, mechanical engineering, energy, equipment manufacturing, and innovation — arrived in Odesa. Kateryna Morozova, Head of the Southern Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of further developing Ukrainian-Turkish partnership. “Turkey is one of Ukraine’s key partners in the Black Sea region. We already cooperate in trade, logistics, agriculture, mechanical engineering, and energy — and this potential should be further expanded. Today’s dialogue is another step toward new joint projects that will benefit both sides,” she said. Representatives of EBA member companies also joined the meeting to explore new opportunities for business development in the region and potential cooperation with Turkish partners. The event became an important platform for building new connections and deepening economic cooperation between Turkish businesses and the Southern region of Ukraine.
