Sergii Boiko Joins the Partnership at VB Partners

26/ 09/ 2025
The legal boutique VB Partners is expanding its partnership team. Serhii Boiko has joined the ranks of the firm’s partners. Sergii joined our team in 2019 and has built an impressive career path – from Associate to Counsel, and now to Partner. Over the years, he has advised on dozens of high-profile projects for clients including the Ukrainian Association of Football, Comfy, Uklon, Helios Financial Corporation, Sumy Machine-Building Plant, and the top management of PrivatBank and Misto Bank. His expertise spans White-Collar Crime, Anti-Corruption, military-related WCC, tax disputes, cross-border investigations, and complex cases involving public officials. He is also recognized by Best Lawyers among the leading practitioners in Criminal Law. In 2025, Sergii was elected to the Board of the Ukrainian Advocates Association and serves on the Criminal Law Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association. Denys Bugay, Founding Partner of VB Partners, commented: «Sergii’s promotion is a logical step in the growth of our team and a continuation of our strategy of leadership in White-Collar Crime. Today, VB Partners brings together the largest number of WCC partners in Eastern Europe – five of our partners focus exclusively on this practice. By admitting Sergii to the partnership, we are not only strengthening this leadership, but also reinforcing the values that define VB Partners – uncompromising professionalism, high internal standards, and absolute dedication to client care. With six partners now coordinating our core practices – White-Collar Crime, Dispute Resolution, and Sanctions – we ensure clients receive truly comprehensive, cross-border service of the highest quality. This promotion reflects both the maturity of our team and the long-term vision of VB Partners as a firm that sets standards for the entire market».
