50 thousand hryvnias for education: graduates of the Lyceum of Information Technologies received grants from Concord Fintech Solutions

04/ 07/ 2023
“Ukraine is a country of opportunities. Ideas of recovery and development - this was the theme of the essays for the Grant Competition for graduates of the Dnipro Lyceum of Information Technologies (LIT). The grant program became another part of the educational program initiated by the co-founder of Concord Fintech Solutions, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and shareholder of JSC JSCB Concord, Olena Sosiedka, who is also a mother of six children. “What is Ukrainian youth? Children who study under fire, who win awards, who want to be useful to their country. LIT is one of the best lyceums. Its graduates have always had interesting prospects, but now, during the war, they will have to overcome a more difficult path, and we want to make it financially easier for them. So that the horizons for their dreams remain wide, because I believe that these are the dreams that need to be realized in Ukraine”, - believes Olena Sosiedka. The winners of the grant competition are Mykhailo Krasin, a graduate of the 11-B grade, Oleksii Rozehan, a graduate of the 11-V grade, and Volodymyr Sukhyi, a graduate of the 11-G grade. The commission reviewed and evaluated the papers according to the following criteria: uniqueness of the proposed idea and relevance of its implementation for the conditions of Ukraine in the near future; quality and accessibility of the authors presentation of the material; usefulness of the proposed idea and how realistic it will be to implement it; logical and complete conclusions. For example, one of the winners is interested in the topic of chemical heaters for the army. He learned that there are no analogues of such heaters in Ukraine and suggested options for chemical reactions for the heating process without flame. The winners received individual grants of the equivalent of 50 thousand UAH, which can be used to pay for further training and educational programs. The certificates were solemnly handed over by Yurii Zadoia,  Chairman of the Board of CONCORD Bank bank. “At a time of great challenges and great changes in Ukraine, it is crucial to support the brightest minds of our youth and thus make a forward-looking investment in the future of our country.  I talked to the guys - it will be interesting to work with them, to restore and develop the country”, - said Yurii Zadoia, chairman of the judges and chairman of the board of ConcordBank. The winners can use the grant (non-cash assistance) either at the institution where they will receive higher education or at the place of attendance of additional courses. The mode of study does not matter. The winners decide on their own which educational institution or course to choose. The project was financed by ConcordBank, and the DobroDii Charity Fund acts as the operating fund.
