365 days together with Ukraine: how Foxtrot provided bullets for the defense of the country

  The retailers contribution to the defense of Ukraines independence is assistance to the Defense and Security Forces of the country in the amount of UAH 14 million, patronage of 14 military units of the Air Force of Ukraine, partnership with almost 200 state authorities, volunteers, public and charitable organizations, vendors and support of 180 mobilized employees and strengthening of corporate volunteerism   From February 24, 2022, with the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia into Ukraine, the company faced the question of not only the safety of business and customers in the occupied regions, but also of helping the state in the fight against the aggressor. Foxtrot, like the entire country, faced a complex of security, humanitarian and economic problems: the central warehouse in Gostomel was destroyed, the amount of damages - UAH 600 million; 10 stores in 7 regions were robbed or completely destroyed 1,500 employees were relocated from the frontline regions and the central office to Lviv. Despite these challenges, Foxtrot mobilized to defend the country. Synergy with state and commercial partners has become a tool in the fight for Ukraines independence and a guarantee of business survival. From February 24, 2022, on the initiative of the co-founders of FOXTROT Group Valeii Makovetskyi and Gennadii Vykhodtsev, the Help for Us operational headquarters was launched to coordinate assistance to workers, military personnel and volunteers throughout the country. During the year of the war, the Foxtrot team processed more than 900 requests for help and provided equipment worth UAH 14 million. From September 2022, Foxtrots patronage over the military units of the Air Force of Ukraine, which are developing the air defense system of Ukraine, began. For six months, Foxtrot issued 220 units of equipment to subordinates on 25 requests from 14 military units from 10 regions of Ukraine. The total amount of aid to the Air Force of Ukraine is UAH 1.45 million. During the year of the war, Foxtrot provided equipment to the State Emergency Service and the National Police for 38 requests from 12 regions of Ukraine for the amount of more than UAH 800,000. In addition, the necessary equipment was provided for setting up 25 Points of Invincibility in 3 front-line regions - Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv and Kherson. Corporate volunteers of the Foxtrot Group regularly handed over office and household appliances, furniture, kitchen utensils, toys, trench candles as part of the actions Light is us, I want to help, From DIT – to childrens  for defenders, to schoolchildren of destroyed educational institutions  and to families who lost their homes. Other social initiatives include support for projects aimed at helping homeless animals in shelters. Together with the Happy Paw charitable foundation, they launched the F-support program for animals evacuated from hot spots. In two months from the beginning of its operation, it was possible to help more than 13 shelters for a total amount of more than UAH 200,000. Each of you is a fighter who, with his work, is bringing Ukraine closer to victory in this war, - Chairman of the Board of Founders of the FOXTROT Group of Companies Gennadiy Vykhodtsev and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Foxtrot network Valerii Makovetsky summarized the work of the business in 2022-2023. In December 2022, Gennadii Vykhodtsev was awarded the medal For Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov. On February 14, 2023, the chairman of the Foxtrot supervisory board Valery Makovetsky received the award For assistance to the Air Force of Ukraine from the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk.
