Tax audits in 2023 – what to prepare for?

  The State Tax Service of Ukraine (STS) has published a plan-schedule for scheduled document inspections of taxpayers for 2023. In total, tax officials planned to conduct more than 4,000 scheduled inspections. To whom they will apply and what will be their intensity throughout the year was discussed during the online meeting Tax audits in 2023 - what to prepare for?. Specialists of Crowe Mikhailenko: Vitaly Smerdov, newly elected Chairman of the EBA Odesa Financial and Tax Committee, partner of the tax practice, Viktoriya Vlasenko, adviser of the tax practice, Andriy Dukhnytskyi, adviser of the corporate department, Kateryna Skrypkina, lawyer of the corporate department, provided their expert advice. The meeting was moderated by Inna Hryshkovets, manager of the EBA Odesa committees. In particular, the employees of the Associations companies considered the news of tax regulation for owners of foreign companies (report with CFC, payment of tax with CFC, submission of notice on CFC, etc.); talked in more detail about the tax and legal consequences if the company or counterparty is located in the territories where hostilities are (were) taking place or temporarily occupied by the russian federation; learned about the novelties of the new registration procedure for conscripts; got acquainted with the practice of budgetary compensation, etc. The main advice for business is to carefully prepare for control measures by the STS, and the Association is always ready to help with this issues!
