Lviv Customs, Lviv Law and Taxes

  On Friday, January 27 at the joint meeting of the Customs and Tax & Accounting Committee Oleg Kyryievskyy, Head of the Customs Committee, Advice Group Partner and Ivan Durkach, his colleague, Advice Group Associate in Tax Law were speaking about changes in tax law on the registration of tax bills with the code classification of goods. They also shared best practices in difficult cases of Ukrainian Classification of Goods of Foreign Trade Activities interpretation. Finally, the speakers presented the relevant European Court of Human Rights in tax disputes and stressed the principle of individual responsibility of taxpayers. Since a number of questions arose during the meeting, it was decided to send a request to the SFS of Ukraine to obtain clarification of the current legislation provisions.
