Foxtrot launched the sale of monobank payment cards in its stores

20/ 04/ 2021
The Foxtrot, chain of stores, is starting to sell payment cards monobank (Visa) at the cash desks of retail outlets. This service is provided in partnership with monobank for the first time among retailers of electronics and home appliances. As a result, monobank offers customers an additional and affordable way to obtain a payment card, and retailer Foxtrot thus expands a number of innovative services for its customers. The Foxtrot network continues to implement topical solutions to improve the customer experience, so it is the first among large network electronics retailers to launch the sale of monobank payment cards. From now on, the monobank card can be purchased in our stores, and it is more than 160 outlets in 90 settlements of the country, – said Ruslan Doroshenko, Head of development and management of additional services at Foxtrot. – I am convinced that regular and potential Foxtrot customers will appreciate the benefits of convenient banking, because in this way we actually offer a modern payment instrument that they can use in 10-15 minutes after its purchase. The cost of the card is 50 hryvnias. However, after registration and remote verification in the banks application, this amount will be credited to the buyers account. Accordingly – the card will be free for the user. We are glad that Foxtrot has placed our cards at the box office. Customers who make a purchase decision will be able to afford more: to register on the spot and immediately use credit funds or to make a Purchase in Parts”, – added Anatoliy Rogalsky, CMO at monobank. Note that the first partner of monobank to issue a card at the supermarket checkout was a grocery retailer Novus in December last year. Foxtrot is one of the largest retail chains in terms of the number of stores and sales of electronics and home appliances in Ukraine. As of April 2021, the brand is omnichannel (offline and online trade): it covers 163 stores with a total retail area of over 153 thousand square meters in 90 regional and district centers of Ukraine and the online store FOXTROT.UA, the traffic of which reaches 9.5 million users per month. The Foxtrot brand is being developed by the Foxtrot Group of Companies, co-founded by Valerii Makovetskyi and Gennadii Vykhodtsev.
