The recently adopted draft law №5431 significantly extends the powers of the Antimonopoly Committee to conduct inspections and impose fines. Thus, the document implies the following: the right to inspect the premises of individuals by a court decision; the right to seize and confiscate property, objects, documents, other media of the AMCU at any time of the day; the right to determine the priority and categories of cases for which applications are to be left without consideration; the right of access to all automated registers, databases, other systems of collection, storage, processing, and retrieval of information, the holder or administrator of which are state bodies or local governments, etc. On July 20, at 11:00, the European Business Association invites you to a meeting with the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to discuss draft law №5431. The meeting will take place in both online/offline formats. The number of offline participants is limited.
