EBA Family Time: How to Stay effective during the Quarantine?

  For several weeks in a row, we are trying to combine what is challenging to combine: children, family, work. How to stay effective during the quarantine? On April 22, Association, together with Liliya Lutz, Certified Personal and Business Coach, were looking for an answer within the project: “EBA  Family Time”. There is no universal rule, as we are all unique, and the quarantine affects each of us differently. So, what we need to emphasize today to maintain effectiveness: Take care of yourself (emotional, physical, spiritual, mental health). Ask yourself the question: what do I sense today, how do I feel? What tasks do I have to solve today? In case something annoys you it is important to ask yourself why and what caused exactly such a reaction? First of all, you have to be honest with yourself. Such communication will reduce the level of irritation and master yourself. Interaction with the family (responsibilities, mutual support, daily schedule, personal borders). You need to be honest with your family, remind yourself about important and valuable things which unite the family, divide housework between everyone, and find the time for yourself. Learn to be grateful (morning gratitude rituals). Every day is a precious gift. Each of us has definitely something to be thankful for this day. Supporting your parents during the quarantine. You should pay attention to physical activity and emotional conditions. Even a simple call with the question: “How are you doing?” – can cheer up and bring joy to their lives. Hugo-style life on quarantine (the happiness of living every day). Find decisive moments every day. Hugs of kids, chatting with parents, a simple cup of coffee alone or with family, cleaning altogether, playing with pets, good weather outside, etc. Usually, the most complicated things in life are the easiest. And we already know so much from our life experience. Still, today, during quarantine, its not enough just to know but essential to bring to life. Your smile can cheer up a loved one, your kind word to your old parents will warm their heart. Being honest with yourself and your loved ones can be a functional medicine, not only during the quarantine. Lets stay optimistic and healthy!
