Kinstellar strengthens its Dispute Resolution team in Ukraine with appointment of Lyudmyla Volkova as Managing Associate

  March 2018 – Kinstellar, Emerging Europe and Central Asia’s leading independent law firm, is delighted to announce that Lyudmyla Volkova has joined the dispute resolution team of our Kyiv office as a Managing Associate. In her new role, Lyudmyla will focus on domestic litigation proceedings, administrative law matters and arbitration cases. She will also continue to support the Ukrainian judiciary and legal community with the implementation of justice reforms in Ukraine. Lyudmyla Volkova has over 15 years of legal experience. She spent the past eight years as a Judge of the Kharkiv district administrative court and spent her whole previous career in the state administration sector. Ms Volkova has gained notable experience throughout the entire litigation lifecycle, from tax to administrative proceedings. Lyudmyla is a coach with the National School of Judges of Ukraine, a certified coach with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and a former member of Ukraine’s Council of Judges. Lyudmyla is the author of numerous articles on the challenges and achievements of the justice reform in Ukraine. Ms Volkova holds a Degree in Law from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Kharkiv Regional Institute of Public Administration.
