EBA participates in the Rebuilding Ukraine: Security, Opportunities, Investment conference

27/ 10/ 2026
On 22 October, Daria Sichkar, Logistics Committee Manager at the European Business Association, participated in the Rebuilding Ukraine: Security, Opportunities, Investment conference in Bucharest. During a panel discussion, Daria Sichkar spoke about the challenges of integrating Ukrainian businesses into European supply chains and the prospects for international cooperation. Among the key barriers, she highlighted security risks posed by Russian attacks on infrastructure, limited capacity along logistics routes and at border crossing points, as well as complex procedures and unpredictable delivery times. Addressing these challenges requires the development of alternative transport routes, infrastructure modernisation and better coordination between countries. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for cooperation between Ukrainian and Romanian businesses, including the development of transport corridors via the Danube ports and Constanța, intermodal terminals, warehousing infrastructure and freight transport. Daria also emphasised the important role of business associations in identifying logistics challenges and developing practical solutions jointly. In addition, Daria Sichkar presented the Investment Map of Ukraine, developed by the Association in cooperation with GB4U and UkraineInvest. The map helps investors identify investment opportunities across Ukraine’s regions and economic sectors, as well as projects with potential for collaboration.
