Requirements:

• university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
• proven experience as a Chief Accountant, Deputy Chief Accountant, Accounting Manager, or in another senior accounting role;
• strong knowledge of accounting and tax legislation;
• hands-on experience with VAT, corporate income tax, payroll, primary accounting documents, and period-end closing;
• experience supervising an accounting team and allocating responsibilities;
• ability to handle complex and non-standard accounting and tax matters;
• strong communication skills and experience working with business owners, executives, and clients;
• structured and process-oriented mindset, with a high level of responsibility for results;
• ability to work with multiple clients and different types of businesses simultaneously;
• confident user of BAS/1C and other accounting systems;
• willingness to actively participate in the company’s transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central;
• experience with ERP implementation, business process mapping, preparation of functional requirements, testing, and data migration will be an advantage;
• knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory;
• willingness to work primarily from the office in Kharkiv, with remote work available when needed.

Responsibiities:

• organize and coordinate the accounting outsourcing function;
• manage the accounting team, allocate tasks, and monitor workload;
• oversee the quality of clients’ accounting and tax records;
• ensure timely period-end closing and submission of statutory reports;
• review the work of accountants and provide methodological support on complex and non-standard matters;
• communicate with clients, executives, and business owners;
• participate in resolving complex accounting and tax issues;
• ensure compliance with internal quality standards and operating procedures;
• develop and standardize accounting outsourcing processes;
• improve and automate accounting workflows;
• participate in the company’s transition from BAS to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central;
• map business processes, define system requirements, and participate in testing and implementation of new solutions;
• support the professional development of the accounting team;
• monitor the quality of client service and ensure timely resolution of issues.
