EBA Lviv: Synergy in action. Date: 02 October2026. Time: 16:00 19:00. Language: Ukrainian (without translation). Place: Citadel Inn, вул. Грабовського, 11, Львів. Dear colleagues, We are pleased to invite you to Synergy in Action, an event dedicated to the practical aspects of GR, lobbying, and systematic engagement between business and government authorities. Today, GR is becoming an increasingly important function for business. Companies need not only to understand regulatory changes, but also to be able to formulate their position, build dialogue with government authorities, and use transparent and effective tools for representing business interests. At the same time, lobbying remains a topic that raises many questions. What exactly constitutes lobbying? How does it differ from GR and advocacy? When should a company establish its own GR function? How does the Transparency Register work, and what should businesses take into account? During Synergy in Action, we want to discuss these issues in a simple, practical way, using real-life examples. In particular, we will discuss: – what GR and lobbying are and the difference between them; – where to start when establishing a GR function within a company; – how to identify business priorities and formulate a clear position; – how to build systematic engagement with government authorities; – how the Transparency Register works and what businesses need to know; – practical GR experience in large companies; – the role of business associations in representing and protecting business interests; – common challenges and mistakes in GR work. Representatives of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention are invited to participate in the event and will discuss the practical aspects of the Transparency Register and lobbying regulation, alongside representatives of Ukrainian and international businesses and experienced GR practitioners. Together, we will discuss not only the rules, but also how GR works in practice, how to turn a business need into a clear position, and how to build effective and transparent dialogue with the government.
