The meeting of the Office’s Legal and Tax Committee brought together business representatives to discuss current changes in the fields of law and taxation

28/ 04/ 2026
The first meeting of the Legal and Tax Committee of the Western Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association brought together business representatives to discuss key legal and tax developments shaping today’s business environment. The central topic focused on operating without signed acceptance acts. Participants explored recent legislative approaches to documenting business transactions, including the use of primary documents without client signatures, provided this is предусмотрено in contracts and properly reflected in accounting. At the same time, experts emphasized that this is not a full отказ from acceptance acts, but rather a simplified approach that requires careful implementation, considering potential tax audit risks, disputes with counterparties and the subjective interpretation by regulatory authorities. Special attention was also given to the overview of key legislative changes in 2026, presented by the Committee Chair. The discussion covered updates in labor law, tax administration, currency regulation and other areas that are actively reshaping the business landscape.
