Beyond the Frame: Odesa’s Business Community Came Together for an Evening of Leadership, Art and Meaningful Connections

25/ 07/ 2026
The most valuable business relationships are rarely built during formal meetings. More often, they emerge through open conversations among people united by shared values, ideas and a common drive to grow their businesses, even in the most challenging times. This was precisely the spirit of Beyond the Frame, a summer networking evening organised by EBA Odesa together with Amadeus Marine.  On July 23, representatives of EBA member companies gathered at the Odesa National Fine Arts Museum—one of Ukraines oldest art museums, home to an exceptional collection of Ukrainian and European art. The venue itself reflected the concept of the evening, as Beyond the Frame explored a vision of leadership that goes beyond conventional roles, expectations and formal definitions.  Following the welcome remarks, participants joined curator-led tours of the museum, guided by the museums experts and personally by Kateryna Kulai, Director of the Odesa National Fine Arts Museum. As they explored the museums galleries, guests had the opportunity to discover its rich history and unique collection while experiencing this iconic cultural space from a fresh perspective.  The evening continued with a discussion on womens leadership—a topic of particular relevance for Ukraine today. The conversation was led by Maria Solianyk, Co-founder and CEO of Amadeus Marine and the visionary behind the event, in dialogue with Kateryna Morozova, Head of the Southern Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association. Their discussion explored the many roles modern women balance in both their professional and personal lives, the challenges they face while growing businesses, and the importance of trust and mutual support within their own teams and the wider business community. The discussion format encouraged participants to share their own experiences, discuss current challenges, and discover new opportunities for collaboration. After all, the most valuable business relationships are often built in an informal atmosphere—where there is space not only to talk about business, but also to get to know the people behind it.  The evenings warm and welcoming atmosphere was complemented by a reception provided by Atelier — a restaurant known not only for its breakfasts, dinners, and coffee, but also for its attention to detail and contemporary culinary culture. The Atelier team prepared a selection of signature appetizers and sparkling wine, making informal networking even more enjoyable and comfortable.  Beyond the Frame once again demonstrated that business events can be much more than professional networking platforms. They can also become spaces for inspiration, fresh ideas and genuine human connection. It is in this kind of environment that trusted relationships, long-term partnerships and collaborative initiatives are born—extending far beyond a single evening.  The Southern Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association extends its sincere gratitude to the events General Partner, Amadeus Marine, and personally to Maria Solianyk for her inspiring vision and invaluable support in bringing this idea to life; to the Odesa National Fine Arts Museum for its warm hospitality and for providing a unique setting where art and business could come together; to IDS Aqua for the refreshing beverages throughout the evening; and to Atelier for the exceptional catering and for creating a truly memorable atmosphere. We also thank all participants for their openness, engaging conversations and commitment to strengthening a vibrant and united business community in Southern Ukraine.
