Online-Lecture: The Age of Cognitive Overload: How to Work When the Brain Can No Longer Keep Up with the Old Rules. Date: 16 September2026. Time: 11:00 12:30. Language: Ukrainian. Fee: Free of charge for EBA members. Place: Will be online. Work has become more challenging—not because people are less skilled or less motivated. We live in a world of constant multitasking, information overload, endless notifications, and the need to make dozens of decisions every day. Our brains rarely get a chance to pause, and the feeling of exhaustion often returns just two or three days after coming back from vacation. In these conditions, productivity depends less and less on willpower or discipline. Instead, it increasingly relies on how effectively we manage our attention, nervous system, and cognitive resources.  During the session, we will explore why traditional productivity approaches are becoming less effective, how cognitive overload affects team performance, decision-making, and the psychological well-being of both leaders and employees, and which practical strategies can help restore attention and mental capacity without compromising performance.  EBA Management Development Centre Team, together with Kira Syrotenko, invite you to participate in the Online-Lecture: The Age of Cognitive Overload: How to Work When the Brain Can No Longer Keep Up with the Old Rules. Target audience: business leaders, business owners, HR professionals, and team managers. Questions for discussion:  Why do we become exhausted much faster, even though we are not working more than before?  How does cognitive overload affect decision-making, concentration, and productivity?  Why has multitasking become one of the leading causes of reduced effectiveness?  How can you recognize the early signs of cognitive overload in yourself and your employees?  Which habits and management practices help reduce cognitive load?  How can organizations create a work environment where people can perform effectively without constant exhaustion?   Please note that the opinions and views expressed by the trainer (speaker) during the event are solely his/her personal position and intellectual property and do not in any way represent the official position of the European Business Association.  Registration is obligatory. To become a participant, please, click the “Register” button. Only the users of the EBA site can register at the event.
