LEAN INSTITUTE UKRAINE

Lean Institute Ukraine is a non-profit public organisation in Ukraine and a member of the Lean Global Network, founded in 2007 by James Womack and Daniel Jones, who were the first to introduce the Lean methodology to the world. This global network of Lean practitioners, which today comprises 32 institutes and is the world’s most authoritative organisation in the field of business process optimisation, enables us to engage the world’s leading Lean consultants, who have many years’ experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement at companies such as Amazon, IKEA, Starbucks, New Balance, Nike, Victoria’s Secret and many others. The aim of the LEAN INSTITUTE UKRAINE is to enhance the competitiveness and innovation of Ukrainian companies through the ‘lean’ production methodology.
Our mission is to promote the spread of lean thinking and practices in Ukraine. The objective of the LEAN INSTITUTE UKRAINE is to support Ukrainian enterprises on their path to transformation. The achievement of this objective is reflected in the following areas of activity: training partner company staff in Lean approaches and methods; launching continuous improvement projects; jointly conducting experiments and applying new approaches in both thinking and practical actions; coaching for managers and kaizen teams, etc.

The consultants and partners of the NGO ‘LEAN INSTITUTE UKRAINE’ are Ukraine’s most professional Lean consultants, with experience in implementing Lean at companies such as: MHP, Nova Poshta, Biopharma, Astarta, Kernel, ODW Elektrik, Agroprosperis Group and others. Thanks to our work, our clients have achieved the following results: 55% reduction in order processing time; 67% reduction in dispatch errors; 45% reduction in scrap; 33% increase in productivity; 27% reduction in assembly time, and so on. Lean Institute Ukraine was established to promote lean thinking in Ukraine and to guide businesses, institutions and organisations on the path to continuous improvement in line with Lean principles. We aim to help anyone interested to receive appropriate training and learn from best practices in improving organisational culture and processes. We are working to develop and strengthen our capabilities in order to create value for our clients and ensure the success of our organisations. The second priority of the Lean Institute Ukraine (LIU) is the integration of lean thinking into Ukrainian business. LIU helps Ukrainian companies, which face complex challenges in today’s environment, to undergo a profound transformational process in order to enhance their competitiveness in both local and international markets. Our partners show great interest in implementing Lean transformations, as well as a willingness and keen interest in learning and sharing results. LIU focuses primarily on developing people and helping them understand the principles of Lean, thereby building expertise in Lean manufacturing in Ukraine. Our collaboration with clients involves training the partner company’s staff in lean approaches and methods for launching continuous improvement projects, conducting joint experiments and applying new ways of thinking and specific actions, as well as coaching for managers and kaizen teams.
