During the meeting, participants discussed challenges in the field of chemical safety, the need to simplify and deregulate certain procedures, as well as the importance of clear and transparent processes for businesses. The participants also emphasised the importance of harmonising Ukrainian legislation with European approaches, particularly in the context of implementing EU technical regulations. A separate topic of discussion was the setting of priorities for further work. Business representatives highlighted the importance of clearly prioritising reforms, focusing on the most critical market issues, and ensuring predictability in regulatory policy. The Association welcomes the establishment of the working group as an important step towards a systematic approach to chemical safety and remains committed to contributing to the development of effective and balanced solutions in cooperation with public authorities.
