More than 20 Trees for Chornomorsk: EBA Held an Offsite Meeting of the Environmental Working Group

Listen to online Stop   On April 10, 2026, the Southern Ukrainian Office of the EBA held an offsite meeting of the Ecological Working Group in Chornomorsk. As part of the event, a social initiative on tree planting took place in Prymorskyi Park, bringing together the business community around a shared goal — to make urban spaces greener and more comfortable. During the event, more than 20 trees were planted through joint efforts, making a meaningful contribution to the development of the city’s green infrastructure. Among the planted species were oleaster, sakura, cherry laurel, purple-leaved plum, and ginkgo biloba. The event was held in a family-friendly format and brought together not only members of the business community but also their families. Children actively joined the initiative, with entertainment, interactive activities, and creative workshops organized for them. The creation of a unique recreational space — from concept to full implementation — was led by the Dream Active Agency team. Thanks to their creativity, every moment of the event was filled with joy, aesthetics, and vivid emotions. The atmosphere was further enriched by creative workshops with the participation of Daria Nakvakina, an artist and art therapist, who helped create a space for creativity, interaction, and inspiration. An additional component of the event was ecotherapy — an initiative aimed at restoring emotional balance through interaction with nature and fostering a more conscious attitude toward the environment. The planting was carried out with the support of Stanislav Pasichnyk, founder of the NGO EcoTherapy, which added meaningful depth to the event and strengthened its practical impact. The meeting itself took place in a friendly and inspiring atmosphere, with a strong team spirit, good mood, and participants’ sincere desire to contribute to the development of the urban environment. Participants also had the opportunity to network informally over traditional fish soup, which became a pleasant addition to the event. We extend our gratitude to the Chornomorsk City Council leadership for supporting business initiatives and facilitating their implementation, as well as to all partners for their support and contribution to the realization of this initiative. The tree planting became a practical contribution to the development of Chornomorsk’s green infrastructure and a continuation of the Association’s environmental initiatives aimed at greening cities and fostering a culture of responsible environmental stewardship. Such events are becoming especially important today, as they not only improve urban landscaping but also unite the community around positive change.
