Vitalii Kulynych speaks at EBA webinar on the AI Act

  Vitalii Kulynych, Senior Associate at Asters, spoke at the webinar The AI Act with Extraterritorial Effect: Practical Implications for Business, organized by the European Business Association (EBA) on 5 February 2026. During the event, Vitalii provided a detailed overview of the key provisions of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) and their impact on businesses in Ukraine and beyond. In particular, he explained: which AI models and systems fall within the scope of the AI Act and based on which criteria; when the regulation’s requirements apply to developers, integrators, and deployers of AI systems; the key obligations and procedures established by the legislation to ensure compliance; how responsibilities are allocated between providers and deployers of AI systems; potential penalties for non-compliance; how the AI governance and supervisory framework is structured in the EU.
