Brandy AZNAURI – No 1 “BRAND OF THE YEAR” – according to The Spirits Business Awards in London

25/ 11/ 2025
On November 13, 2025, a grand ceremony for the international award, The Spirits Business Awards, took place in the very heart of London. This prestigious award annually recognizes the best representatives of the global alcoholic beverage industry. This year, AZNAURI – an international brand conquering the world with its quality, character, and philosophy – won the BRAND OF THE YEAR nomination in the Cognac and Brandy category. The Spirits Business Awards, established in 2019 by the influential British publication The Spirits Business, is the most prestigious British award, comparable to the Oscars of the alcohol industry. It celebrates innovation, professionalism, as well as the contribution and achievements of companies, brands, manufacturers, HoReCa establishments, and industry professionals who shape the modern culture of alcoholic beverage consumption. The jury included 15 leading international experts — bar owners, consultants, media representatives, and specialized organizations. They evaluated brands from all over the world in key categories: vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, cognac/brandy, and others. The final shortlist for the BRAND OF THE YEAR nomination in the Cognac/Brandy category featured brands from France and Britain. However, AZNAURI received the highest score from the jury, confirming its status as a global leader in its category. Incidentally, last year, the title of BRAND OF THE YEAR in this category went to Rémy Martin, which honorably passed this title to AZNAURI in 2025. “The AZNAURI brand quickly became a category leader and truly stands out with its rapid growth rates, sales dynamics, number of accolades, and product innovations. This is impressive, especially considering the difficulties the brand is currently facing in Ukraine, demonstrating incredible resilience,” comments Melita Kiely, Editor-in-Chief and Chair of the Spirits Business Awards jury. During the award ceremony, Oleksiy Druzenko, CEO of GLOBAL BEVERAGE TRADE, noted: “The victory was made possible owing to three fundamental principles that the company adheres to: high and stable product quality, a strong team of professionals working on the brand, and the magnetic emotional component that the AZNAURI brand conveys. But I want to express my sincerest gratitude to our connoisseurs, who consciously choose AZNAURI every time. We are grateful for their trust and will do everything to continue to live up to it.” This is AZNAURI first victory at The Spirits Business Awards, but far from its first international recognition. For the second consecutive year, the brand holds the title of №1 in the world for growth rate among cognacs and brandies, according to Drinks International magazine and The Spirits Business, with an average annual indicator of 68%. In 2024, AZNAURI received the Brand Champion title, surpassing the milestone of 1 million nine-liter cases sold in a relatively short period, becoming the only brand in the cognac and brandy category to achieve such a result. The brand also boasts numerous medals from tasting competitions in the USA, Germany, France, and Britain for its exceptional taste characteristics and consistent quality. The year 2025 is special for the brand — AZNAURI celebrates its 10th anniversary, making it one of the youngest brands globally to have gained international recognition and consumer love in such a short time. In Ukraine, AZNAURI has transformed into a true love mark — a symbol of confidence, strength, and inspiration. Its message, Lion’s power in you, resonates with everyone who continues to move forward despite challenges. Reference Information The AZNAURI brand has been sold for 10 years and is represented in three alcoholic categories: brandy, still wines, and sparkling wines. Today, AZNAURI is one of the most popular alcohol brands in Ukraine, with an awareness rate of 78% and sales figures exceeding 1.6 million 9-liter cases (equivalent to 14 million liters). In the brandy category, the brand has a wide assortment of both classic brandy,  flavors brandy and special collections, including the Special Edition and Flavored Collection. The main symbol of the brand - the majestic Lion, embodying power, endurance, grandeur, and nobility - is integrated into all AZNAURI products. We remind you that on September 28, 2025, the Akkerman Distillery production complex, which manufactured AZNAURI products for the Ukrainian market, was subjected to a targeted massive attack by 17 enemy UAVs. The attack completely destroyed the finished product warehouse, the bottling shop, and 250 thousand bottles of products. This heavy blow to the production facility did not shake the stability of the AZNAURI brand in the market. The company responded to the challenge with more intensive work and even greater faith in its own capabilities and future victory. Sufficient product stocks ensure the availability of the AZNAURI brand for connoisseurs on store shelves. The company promises to resume new supplies by the end of 2025.
