Sayenko Kharenko strengthens tax practice with new counsel hire

  Sayenko Kharenko has further strengthened its tax capabilities with the hire of Vitaliy Odzhykovskyy who joins the firm as a counsel. Vitaliy Odzhykovskyy has over eight years of experience across a range of international and domestic tax issues, tax litigation, customs law and currency regulation. Vitaliy has a solid record of expertise advising multinationals and local companies at all stages of tax controversies during both out-of-court and court proceedings, including interaction with the tax, customs and other state authorities. He offers expert advice to taxpayers in the process of tax audits and consideration of complaints and objections of taxpayers by the tax authorities.His specific areas of experience include sectors such as FMCG and the agricultural sector. Vitaliys previous experience includes working in KM Partners (WTS Consulting) and Baker McKenzie. Vitaliy Odzhykovskyy studied law at Kyiv Mohyla Academy (Bachelor of law degree) and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Master’s degree in law). He is a certified attorney-at-law admitted to the bar in Ukraine. Serhiy Verlanov, partner, head of tax practice, commented: “We are delighted to have Vitaliy on board.
