EBA Dnipro Office launches Mediation Hub

03/ 10/ 2025
EBA Dnipro announced the launch of the Mediation Hub – a platform aimed at promoting peaceful resolution of business disputes, which will be managed by Kateryna Prysyazhnyuk. Its mission is to help companies understand when and how to use mediation tools, as well as to provide educational opportunities for developing essential competencies. At the first meeting, the expert speaker was Viktoriia Polishchuk, who shared her experience and practical advice on applying mediation in the business environment for HR. She paid particular attention to the role of mediation in labor conflicts. This goes beyond issues of dismissals or salaries and is also about improving communication and fostering a sustainable corporate culture. Mediation helps avoid lengthy court proceedings, offering a faster and more confidential way to resolve disputes while saving companies both time and resources. It was emphasized that effective communication and conflict resolution require skills such as empathy, active listening, and the ability to ask open-ended questions. Equally important is knowledge of labor law and the development of “roadmaps” for handling disputes within a company. The discussion also touched on the role of internal and external mediators, as well as potential costs. As Viktoriia Polishchuk noted, mediation is a far more beneficial alternative to litigation, as it enables businesses to save financial and time resources while maintaining trust within teams. Additionally, our members can subscribe to the new section in personal account at eba.com.ua to stay informed about upcoming meetings within the Mediation Hub.
