Asters has contributed to the Critical Infrastructure Operators Cyber Diagnostic Program

  Asters contributed to conducting a cybersecurity assessment of the Dnipro City Council and its municipal enterprises (the ‘Objects’) and evaluating the current maturity of their systems in accordance with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0. The work aimed to improve the cybersecurity of the Objects, and prevent data leakage, unauthorised access and disruption of critical services, and conducted with the support from the US Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Activity. Based on the assessment results, the team developed practical recommendations to improve the cyber resilience, formed the high-level design of the technical architecture of cyber security (HLD) and the operational cyber security model, and drafted information security policies for the Objects. It also developed a roadmap outlining the steps and resources needed to improve the Objects cyber resilience. Asters team working on the cyber diagnostics included Partner and Head of Tech & Comms Yuriy Kotliarov, Counsel Sergiy Tsyba and Associate Victoria Kurylina. Asters is the largest full-service law firm in Ukraine with offices in Kyiv, Brussels, London, and Washington, D.C. The firm has access to over 125 jurisdictions through a well-developed network of partner law firms.
