Yuliana Onishchuk is the only speaker from Ukraine at ChangeNOW

13/ 06/ 2025
Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation was the only speaker from Ukraine at the ChangeNOW 2025 global summit and immediately gained recognition among the participants of the event’s participants. Among 600 speakers from 140 countries, Yuliana Onishchuk, CEO & Founder of the Foundation, spoke twice on the worlds main arena for sustainable development, and during her speeches the audience shouted: “Glory to Ukraine!”  Ukraine’s example of maintaining energy sustainability in the face of a full-scale war is unique. According to the Ministry of Energy, in 2024 alone, the country lost 10 GW of generating capacity due to russian shelling and another 18 GW as a result of territory occupation. Despite constant shelling and destruction, Ukraine is implementing innovative solutions. Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation is installing hybrid solar power station in schools, hospitals, and water supply facilities. These projects not only provide vital infrastructure with power during blackouts but also create the groundwork for a future that is green, autonomous, and sustainable. It was this complex and highly relevant experience that Yuliana Onishchuk shared at the event in France.    “Participating in the ChangeNOW summit is an opportunity to show the world that we are not only in a zone of struggle — we are at the epicenter of change. That is why Ukraine’s voice must be heard at such events not as an exception, but as part of the global dialogue on solar energy, noted Yuliana Onishchuk. We have something to share — and something to offer the world”.    The largest global event dedicated to innovative solutions for the planet brought together over 40,000 participants, 10,000 companies, and 1,000 investors. The summit was held at the Grand Palais in Paris and lasted from April 24 to 26, 2025. During this time, the fund’s team not only spoke to world leaders, but also held dozens of meetings with international partners, discussing new projects and scaling solutions for the sustainable future of Ukraine and the world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnVVvl81AY4
