Meeting of the ЕВА Western Ukrainian Office with the European Commission delegation working on Ukraine’s recovery

    Representatives of the EBA’s Western Ukrainian Office met with a European Commission delegation focused on Ukraine’s recovery, as well as with Andrii Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv, and Andrii Pavliv, Head of the Investment and Project Office. The delegation included: 🇪🇺 Elena Visnar Malinovska – Head of the Department for Reconstruction and EU Integration at Ukraine Service 🇪🇺 Gabriel Blanc – Head of the European Commissions Investment Opportunities for Ukraine Department 🇪🇺 Jeanne Robles — Political Advisor 🇪🇺 Stanislav Toshkov – Manager of the Economic Cooperation Sector The key topic of the meeting was investment and business support. Ukraine remains a promising investment destination. Despite all challenges, international companies continue to view our country as a reliable partner, and the European Commission is ready to support entrepreneurs seeking to develop the economy. EU financial assistance includes grant programmes and credit opportunities that are already in operation. These focus on supporting small and medium-sized businesses, modernising production capacities, restoring infrastructure, and integrating Ukrainian companies into European markets. Regulatory harmonisation is a key factor in attracting new investors. European partners stressed the need to align Ukrainian regulations with EU standards to ensure a predictable business environment and access to international financing. 🤝 Europe stands with Ukraine in its recovery and investment mobilisation. During the meeting, representatives of the European Commission confirmed their continued readiness to support the financing of strategic projects aimed at economic stability and development. We extend our sincere thanks to the Lviv City Council for facilitating this meeting!
