12/ 07/ 2024
A special award from UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group Natalya Olshanska, head and co-owner of the family campaign Famberry, received. She will expand, increase turnover and continue to supply more than 50 types of the companys products to the market. This year, the competition jury evaluated 425 projects. 10 finalists were traditionally selected from them. «This year, a record number of 425 women participated in the competition. It is tremendous that they continue to grow despite all the facts of terrible war reality: hostilities and occupation, relocations, air alerts, and shelling. I am deeply impressed with how they can find internal personal resources to recover and move on. For instance, the competition winner, Olga Lekova, uses recycled plastic to produce shelter furniture; this sustainable solution allows people to be more comfortable in shelter during air attacks. As a competition partner, we awarded a special prize to Natalia Olshanska, co-owner and manager of the family company Famberry. She restarted her business after relocation due to occupation. She lost her son, who protected Ukraine, and she found the strength to move forward. The banks support will help Natalia grow her business which is basis on her family garden of organic dogwood», - shared Chairman of the Management Board UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group Laurent Dupuch. As a partner of the Franco-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and an active promoter of the development of the potential of women and social entrepreneurship, the representative of the bank - director of communications, CSR and engagement UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group Yanina Olkhovska joined the jury and evaluated the works of the participants. «Every year, we choose one of the finalists and present her with a cash certificate for the development of her own business. Natalya Olshanska impressed us the most. She co-owns and manages the family company Famberry. Their garden grows over 25 types of organic dogwood, which they process into over types of 50 goods. UAH 100,000 will help Natalia restore the companys capacity in another city and increase production volumes. Ukrainian business means stability, reliability, and further development. Natalis company is an example of a Ukrainian agrarian business. Despite the occupation, destruction, and personal losses, she demonstrates to everyone how important it is to develop and move on», - commented Yanina Olkhovska. Natalya Olshanska relocated her business - the family company Famberry to another region because her hometown is under occupation, and all equipment and facilities have been destroyed. They grow and process organic dogwood, and in their garden, there are more than 25 types of varieties of Ukrainian selection. Thanks to the funds from the bank, Natalia will be able to increase her turnover, further develop her business, and in the future supply more than 50 types of her products throughout Ukraine. I am very fortunate to stand side by side with the most potential force of Ukraine - Ukrainian women. I know and believe that very little time will pass, and you will impress the whole world. I thank our women, our defenders, for life, opportunities for development and experience, - thanked Natalya Olshanska. Olga Lekova won the 6th contest Created by Women. She received UAH 150,000 for the development of her own business and a trip to Paris. The entrepreneur created the Recast Plastic project and manufactures shelter furniture from recycled plastic.
